Texas World Dirt Track Championships held at the Texas Motor Speedway is the
second largest dirt modified event in the United States. A total of 268 entrants
from 12 states participated - 212 modifieds and 56 late models. Alex was on the
track all three days starting with practice sessions on Thursday. Both Friday and
Saturday he survived heat races to be eligible to participate in qualifying events.
